Located in the heart of Phoenix, ZIP code 85012 is nestled between the bustling neighborhoods of Midtown and Uptown. Caregivers in this area typically serve a single client, often close to their own home, reducing commute times. Major thoroughfares like Central Avenue and the nearby Arizona State Route 51 provide easy access to local amenities, while the scenic backdrop of Piestewa Peak adds to the area's charm.
HHAs may work under the direction of a care manager or registered nurse to provide non-medical care that supports a client’s health plan. That includes medication reminders (not administration), monitoring vitals like blood pressure and pulse, helping with mobility and exercises, and noting changes in the client’s condition for the nurse to follow up. The clinical structure is there, but the day is centered around the home.
