Fountain Hills, located in ZIP code 85268, is known for its scenic desert landscapes and the iconic Fountain Park. Caregivers in this area typically work with a single client, often residing close to neighborhoods such as Sunridge Canyon or Eagle Mountain. The commute is straightforward, primarily involving local roads like Palisades Boulevard and Shea Boulevard, ensuring that caregivers are familiar with their surroundings and community.
HHAs may work under the direction of a care manager or registered nurse to provide non-medical care that supports a client’s health plan. That includes medication reminders (not administration), monitoring vitals like blood pressure and pulse, helping with mobility and exercises, and noting changes in the client’s condition for the nurse to follow up. The clinical structure is there, but the day is centered around the home.
