In ZIP code 85737, located in the Oro Valley area of Tucson, caregivers work in a serene environment characterized by scenic views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. This area features residential neighborhoods like Rancho Vistoso and Sun City Oro Valley, where caregivers typically serve a single client near their own homes. Key roads such as Oracle Road and Tangerine Road provide easy access, ensuring a short commute within this peaceful community.
HHAs may work under the direction of a care manager or registered nurse to provide non-medical care that supports a client’s health plan. That includes medication reminders (not administration), monitoring vitals like blood pressure and pulse, helping with mobility and exercises, and noting changes in the client’s condition for the nurse to follow up. The clinical structure is there, but the day is centered around the home.
